In Early 2024, I was brought on to do Character Illustrations for a series of children’s books called Capy & Pug Pug, written by the Father/Son Duo of Thomas and Christopher Peek.
The story of “Capy & Pug Pug” follows a Capybara named Capy. He is very happy living in a forest on the outskirts of New York City. One day he boards a bus out of pure curiosity. Not knowing what it was, he soon finds himself heading towards the big city that he has always seen in the distance. Once he arrives to the city he follows a delicious smell, and it leads him straight to a hot dog stand where he finds a new friend...Pug Pug! And that's where the adventure begins!
